Disregard Previous Post

Friday, December 1st, 2006

Please disregard the previous post for the Burn Foundation meeting.  This was posted on the wrong web site!  This is what happens when one manages too many sites, I suppose.  :)

The December GOFSEA meeting will be held as scheduled.  Wednesday, 13 December, 2006 at 11:30 a.m. at Ronald McDonald House, Dayton.

New Email User Group

Wednesday, November 8th, 2006

We now have a Google email user group to help us stay connected. Use this to communicate outside of normal meetings, when you have questions about fire and life safety education, when you want to share or discuss a hot topic, or when you want to contribute in any way to help other safety educators.

The site link is groups.google.com/group/gofsea

This is a closed group. If you are not already a member of the group (you would have received an email), please email gofsea@googlegroups.com to request membership or use this form.

Membership Dues

Friday, March 10th, 2006

Treasurer Mike Blakesly reminds us that we should submit our dues for 2006.  Because notices were not sent out, the members present at the March meeting voted to reduce the dues for 2006 to $10.

If you paid prior to this, please accept our thanks for being prompt and helping the organization stay on track.

Your dues support projects, purchase resources, and pay for web site expenses.  As a paid member, you have voting privilege and access to resources that others may not have.

Please use the member application found in the right hand site menu.  Be sure to mark out $15 and indicate $10 instead.

Where is GOFSEA Going?

Thursday, December 15th, 2005

Is the Greater Ohio Safety Educators Association a benefit to you? Do you want to contribute your expertise to help others improve their skills in fire and life safety education? Do you think GOFSEA is meeting the mission statement? Should the organization continue? Is there something else you think we should be doing to be a worthwhile organization for fire and life safety educators? Is there a better way for us to communicate with you? Do you have ideas for meeting format, location, or frequency?

There are 120 members on the mailing list. The board would like to hear from you. Please do one or more of the following to provide your input regarding the above questions:
1) Fill out the current poll
2) Email us
We will compile all answers, comments, suggestions and discuss them at the February meeting. Please respond by January 31, 2006. Remember: NO comment is an answer. If we do not see interest in giving feedback, we will assume there is no interest in the organization. Please voice your thoughts!
